Seemingly the band says "Melodic death metal .....with a hint of black metal, folk metal, and symphonic elements." Me personally, seems to be more than a hint of symphonic. Whatever, ...... this one is exceptional in my opinion. Hope they are dropping a new album soon. Shout out to Nor-Cal metal.

As far as Viking atmosphere goes in metal, I doubt there is a better band than Havamal. Their name suits them. The album keeps boosting the euphoria and ends off with one of the best tracks on it. Never lets go. The only natural thing to do is to set it on LOOP and go through the adventure again. Obligatory gym playlist material.
